Whether you’re photographing portraits, landscapes, food or product, you must always pay attention to the details.

These can often be some of the most interesting parts of a photograph.

When photographing details, I use a 50 mm 1.4 lens so I can have a lot of depth of field. It allows your product, or detail to stand out in the photo.

In these products photos, I made sure to capture the detail of the brand’s name or logo. I used shadows to make these photos more interesting and to add contrast.  These photos were taken with continuous lights and flash photography.

I’ve also included photos of the venue that I captured all of these detailed shots in.

“A mountain is composed of tiny grains of earth. The ocean is made up of tiny drops of water. Even so, life is but an endless series of little details, actions, speeches, and thoughts. And the consequences whether good or bad of even the least of them are far-reaching.”
